Android phones have always been known to be expensive and only comes in flavours of high-end smartphones. That is not the case anymore. Samsung and HTC, both have an interesting line up of budget smartphones with Android running on them, and in the next few weeks, we are going to see some more ‘affordable’ Android phones.
We have compiled a list of the cheapest Android phones available in the market. This list is based on the price, availability and age of the Android phone. This is just a small, quick list to start with. We plan to add further more Android phones and update the list as new cheaper phones release – specially in Pakistan.
The list of cheap Android phones in Pakistan is:
1. Zong/Ufone IDEOS (U8150) – Rs. 9,000

2. Samsung Galaxy Y (S5360) – Rs. 13,000
Specifications: 830 MHz CPU, 290 MB RAM, 2.0 megapixels camera, Android 2.3.5 (Gingerbread)
3. HTC Explorer – Rs. 15,999
Specifications: 600 MHz CPU, 512 MB RAM, 3.15 megapixels camera, Android 2.3.5 (Gingerbread)
4. Samsung Galaxy Mini (S5570) – Rs.15,000
Specifications: 600 MHz CPU, 384 MB RAM, 3.15 megapixels camera, Android 2.2 (Froyo)
5. HTC Wildfire S – Rs. 20,000
Specifications: 600 MHz CPU, 512 MB RAM, 5.0 megapixels camera, Android 2.3 (Gingerbread)
