Hi everyone! It’s been a while since we posted on this ‘unofficial’ Android Pakistan blog. We haven’t really been very active with new Android phone reviews and Google related updates on this website, but here is one step towards bringing that to an end — with a fresh new look and feel.
This is probably the very first time we have updated the design of Android Pakistan. We wanted it to give the website a very neat and clean look, and put more focus towards the content part rather than the useless and cluttered sidebar and other areas we used to have. And with this, we hope to add lots of new content and updates from Google and Android in Pakistan.

Good news for the all the Android developers! You can now publish paid Android apps and games on the Google Play Store. This news just came in earlier today after Google allowed support for another 7 countries who can now sell apps. Previously, Android users in Pakistan were only able to purchase and download paid apps but it was a hassle for a developer who wanted to make money by selling his app/game.
This new update from the Google Play team will definitely encourage more Android developers to build apps in Pakistan and be able to sell them. Other new countries that can now publish paid apps are: Jordan, Lebanon, Oman, Puerto Rico, Qatar, And Venezuela.

An official launch event is later today in Lahore and we look forward to attend it. This new phone is now available from Telenor with a pre-order bundle offer that will get you a free S Cover along with the Samsung Galaxy Note 4. And just to clear it out, this Galaxy Note 4 is the LTE model that would work with Zong 4G and Warid.

A few days back, Zong invited a some bloggers from Karachi, Lahore and Islamabad — to their Zong HQ in Chak Shahzad, Islamabad. This was not just a tour of their new headquarters, but a full day of activities till dinner time. Lucky enough to get a chance of visiting their new office, I was all excited on the morning of 24th September 2014.

Samsung Galaxy Star Pro is one of the entry-level offerings by Samsung and is one of the cheapest options for a good Android phone available at just Rs.12,900. Why? This is what we will be telling you in our review of this phone. Samsung Galaxy Star Pro is a successor to the Samsung Galaxy Star which was launched early last year and now comes with an improved features set – larger and better display screen, more internal storage and a slightly better battery life.
